April in Tuscany and Umbria

April in Tuscany and Umbria

April in Tuscany and Umbria. Spring is coming, days are longer, it’s time to enjoy the italian country slow living of Tuscany and Umbria.

April is our blooming season, time to re-open, to restart after winter. Here at Fontanaro will start hundreds of roses blooming. And this April , there will be many great local events happening.

Here is a list of main events and things to do from the Umbria Tuscany review of il Fontanaro

Easter 2015 will be, this year, on April 5th.

At Fontanaro, as per our tradition, we’ll start cooking the Sunday lunch on Friday, creating a “foodie” event for all of our guests.

Although we make some last-minute choices based on what is in the garden, our basic traditional meal always includes slow-cooked lamb, Roman fried artichokes (off course fried in our own extra virgin organic olive oil) and the Torta di Pasqua Easter cake. Please contact us for more information. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzKKeb0H_Vs
