# Amalfi Coast and Capri: Best Tips, Hidden Beaches & Restaurants in Italy 🇮🇹🌊

The **Amalfi Coast and Capri** are among the most beautiful places to visit in Italy, famous for breathtaking sea views, romantic villages, luxury hotels, beach clubs, and unforgettable Italian food.

After many trips to this magical part of Southern Italy, we wanted to share some of our favorite personal tips for experiencing the Amalfi Coast and Capri in a more authentic and enjoyable way.

## ✨ Best Time to Visit Amalfi Coast and Capri

We especially love visiting the Amalfi Coast in:

* April
* May
* September
* October

If you visit during June, July, or August, we strongly recommend avoiding weekends whenever possible, especially Saturdays and Sundays, when many Italians travel to the coast.

## 🌸 Positano – Beautiful but Expensive

Positano is undoubtedly one of the most iconic destinations on the Amalfi Coast, with colorful cliffside houses, luxury boutiques, and glamorous beach clubs.

However, it is also one of the most expensive towns in Italy during summer.

### 🌊 Bagni d’Arienzo Beach Club – Our Favorite Beach in Positano

For a wonderful beach day away from the main crowds, we highly recommend:
**Bagni d’Arienzo Beach Club**
Official website:
https://www.arienzobeachclub.com/

This iconic Positano beach club offers:

* crystal-clear water
* beach service
* excellent seafood restaurant
* boat shuttle from Positano
* relaxed elegant atmosphere

It remains one of the best beach clubs on the Amalfi Coast. ([arienzobeachclub.com][1])

🌿 Ravello – One of the Most Romantic Places in Italy

Perched high above the sea, Ravello is peaceful, elegant, and incredibly romantic.

One of our favorite places for lunch or dinner is:

⭐ Palazzo Avino

Home

Inside the hotel, you’ll find different dining options:

* the Michelin-starred Rossellinis
* more relaxed panoramic terraces and bars

For a more casual but still elegant experience, we personally suggest choosing the restaurant terrace rather than the more formal fine-dining option. ([palazzoavino.com][2])

🎶 Ravello Concerts at Villa Rufolo

Before visiting Ravello, always check the concert calendar at Villa Rufolo. During spring and summer there are often:

* classical concerts
* opera performances
* cultural events

The atmosphere overlooking the Amalfi Coast is simply magical.

 🌊 Conca dei Marini – Hidden Amalfi Coast Gem

For a slower and more authentic Amalfi Coast experience, spend a day in Conca dei Marini.

Relax by the sea and enjoy lunch at:

 🍋 Zeffiro Sereno

A charming seaside restaurant known for fresh seafood and beautiful views. Reservations are recommended during summer. ([Facebook][3])

Afterward, visit Amalfi town itself and stop for gelato near the Duomo — one of the simple pleasures of traveling in Italy.

We also recommend visiting:

 🎨 Vietri sul Mare

Famous for:

* handmade ceramics
* colorful artisan shops
* authentic local atmosphere
